Senate Majority Policy Committee to Hold Hearing on Health Care Clinics and the Uninsured
Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 9 a.m. – Senate Majority Caucus Room
Harrisburg – The Senate Majority Policy Committee, chaired by Sen.
Ted Erickson (R-26), will hold a public hearing Tuesday on health care
clinics and the uninsured in Pennsylvania.
The hearing will be held Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 9 a.m. in the Senate
Majority Caucus Room of the Main Capitol Building.
The committee will hear testimony from health care providers
regarding how healthcare clinics are a safety net for the uninsured and
a vital component of the health care delivery system. The panel will
examine how the Commonwealth can do more to foster the development of
new healthcare clinics and ensure that existing clinics are able to meet
the health care demands of the populations they serve.
