the Pennsylvania Academy of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery in recognition
of his efforts to improve patient safety.

June 9, 2009 – Senator Erickson received the 2009 Legislative
Leadership Award from the PA Association of Community Health Centers in
recognition of his leadership in advancing the mission of Pennsylvania’s
Community Health Centers. |

June 2, 2009 - Senator Erickson addressed members of the PA Health Access
Network to discuss health care bills including Senate Bill 5, his legislation
providing grants to establish or expand primary health care clinics in areas of
Pennsylvania without access to such services.

funding for mental health and mental retardation services.

October 2, 2008 - Senator Erickson hosted his annual Senior Expo on October 2 in
Springfield. Held at the Knights of Columbus on Baltimore Pike, the

May 7, 2008 - Senator Erickson
participated in the check presentation to the Chester County Economic
Development Council. These funds will be used to help build a Public Safety
Training Center for emergency responders in Chester County. |

March 10, 2008 -
Senator Erickson hosted the Media Theatre’s State Street Miracles. The
State Street Miracles, a performance troupe of 11 adults with
developmental disabilities, performed in the Capitol Rotunda as part of
Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month.

 January 29, 2008 - Senator Erickson
hosted Kimberly Hickey of Drexel Hill at the State Capitol. A student at
Penn State Brandywine, Kimberly brought her "Nittany Lion" to
Harrisburg. Autographed by members of the Pennsylvania Legislature, the
"Nittany Lion" will be auctioned off in May to provide student
scholarships at Penn State Brandywine. |

November 29, 2007 -
Bridge Educational Foundation announced $114,400 of EITC scholarship
donations. Several of Bridge Educational Foundation donor company
representatives joined State Senators Dominic Pileggi and Ted Erickson
and State Representative Thaddeus Kirkland for this announcement to the
local schools and families. Students at three high schools within the
26th Senatorial District--Archbishop Prendergast, Monsignor Bonner and
Cardinal O’Hara-- will receive scholarships. |
